Grants to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit organizations for projects, programs, and services for older adults. Funding is intended to improve the lives of elderly Jewish individuals. Eligible programs and projects may align with one or more of the following priority areas: Holocaust survivors, community connections, dementia care, capital improvements, and intergenerational programming.

The next grant cycle will focus on:

  • Preventing Elder Abuse; and
  • End of Life care issues

Term of Contract:

The Foundation does not support multi-year grants.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered for funding, organizations must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Must be a nonprofit with a 501(c)3 tax-exempt status or have a fiscal sponsor that has a 501(c)3 tax-exempt status
- Must be in operation for at least two years

Please note that The Sephardic Foundation on Aging does not support:
- Individuals
- Endowments
- Colleges/Universities
- Political Organizations/Action Groups
- Debt reduction
- Multi-year grant proposals

Pre-Application Information:

The next grant cycle will open on Friday, September 17, 2021.

LOI's will be due no later than Thursday, October 14, 2021.

All prospective grantees are asked to first submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI) through the online application system. Select LOI applicants will then be invited to submit a full grant application.
